Ospreys Player/Coach Filo Tiatia said:"Obviously we were disappointed with the result last week, but there's a lot of things we can take from the performance. Our job as coaches is to work this week to fix the things that didn't work for us on Friday night, to make sure that we can put on a really good performance for our fans at the Liberty on Thursday. We've gone through the review performance, the players have seen the footage and as a collective group we know the areas that we need to fix. It's all about experience for the youngsters involved, and making sure that we learn from them.
"A lot of young kids were on show against the Dragons, and that'll be the case again on Thursday night, it's a real opportunity for them to stand up and show us what they can do. It's difficult for us to prepare for games when we have so many players away on international duty, but this is where the beauty of this competition is, as with its development status it allows us to throw in some of the talented kids that we've got coming through, to expose them to a decent standard of footy. It'll stand us in good stead in the long term, with regards to the depth of talent available to us at the Ospreys, that's for sure.
"We want to round off this competition on a high, and that will be our target on Thursday night, to put together a performance of the standard we expect at the Ospreys. I know that we have young kids itching to go, we have players coming back from injury, and guys who haven't had a lot of game time lately, so with everyone looking to make a point, I'm sure we'll be able to put on a good show for our fans."
